4 years to develop a removable skate truck
I have often dreamed of being able to change my skateboard wheels when I needed to go back home after a skateboard session (I was moving on rough streets and it would be so much better with my bigger and soft wheels!) or when I was discovering a new spot without the right setup.
The idea of a detachable skateboard truck that will allow to change the trucks quickly and easily seemed the right solution to tackle this two frustrating situations.
Developing this removable skateboard truck, we discovered that there were many ways to use the system in skate / surfskate / longboard: swap between different surfskate trucks, remove your trucks easily to take a train / a plane / easily pack your stuffs, switch from cruiser wheels to longboard downhill wheels, change your deck quickly if you have broken one and want to change quickly to a new one… The removable skateboard truck is definitely a useful product for some people and some reason.
During more than 4 years, we have been designing, prototyping, testing and improving our system, in order to finally launch a compact, light and resistant product.
A dozens of skateboarders / longboarders / surfskaters have been currently using the binding to make sure it resists as planned! And in order to improve the system again to make it perfect before we scale the production.
