Description

The removable skateboard trucks: a system to change or dismount your trucks in 10 seconds. This pack is used to easily carry your board everywhere you go. System to be mounted on 1 set of trucks with the 4 New School holes and on any type of board with the 8 new holes. A template is provided for drilling the holes by yourself, or boards with pre-drilled holes are available.

Pack includes:

• 2 deck bindings
• 2 truck plates
• 9 anti-loosening screws for the deck bindings, length adapted to 7 maple-plies deck. For thinner boards (such as fiber boards) or thicker ones (such as longboards), other lengths are available in the e-shop under the category Accessories.
• 8 screws + 8 nyloc nuts for the truck plates
• 1 template to drill the holes by yourself

Good to know:

• Pack does NOT include trucks
  
• The system raises the trucks by 5mm. To raise them even higher with a pad, you need to purchase "pad plates," available in the e-shop under the category Accessories.
• If your trucks are heavily hollowed out on the bottom (e.g., Ace skate trucks, Slappy, front surfskate truck Long Island...), it is also advisable to use "pad plates" for the system to function properly.
• The system has been tested for several years. The trucks won't come loose if your bolts are properly tightened.
• All the hardware is compatible with skate tools.
• The system is barely noticeable as it only weighs 124g.

The removable skateboard truck - A new concept

The idea of quickly swapping trucks or wheels has crossed the minds of many skateboarders or longboarders. Whether it's riding on a rough road with hard wheels or when an unexpected spot appears, but the right setup isn't ready, quick truck changes can be beneficial in various situations. Skateboard, cruiser, surfskate, longboard... Everyone uses it their own way with different trucks, wheels and decks:

• Skateboarders: Those in smaller towns often like to switch from hard wheels to soft ones to reach their spot in the best conditions. Those filming prefer using very soft wheels for smoother footage, and when they want to skate, they switch to a traditional setup in seconds. Additionally, skaters who break boards frequently can mount the system on two different decks, allowing them to swap to a fresh one in seconds when one snaps.
• Surfskaters: With so many different surfskate trucks available, being able to switch between various types on the same board within seconds is often a big advantage. Some also enjoy transitioning from a surfskate setup to a cruiser setup with ease.

The system was developed over 4 years, thanks to the help of a dozen passionate skaters who tested various prototypes and provided feedback. The current version of the system has been tested and approved.
